Advanced Dental Technology Stevensville

Dedicated to Providing Modern Dentistry

Dr. Mularczyk is passionate about using the latest, most advanced dental technology in the office, which is why you’ll find us using instruments you may not have ever heard of before, like our digital scanners and electrosurgery. These technologies are designed to make each of your procedures safer, less invasive, and more comfortable, allowing you to enjoy shorter recovery periods and lessen the risk of advancing chronic dental problems. You can learn more about the technology we use throughout our office by reading below.

Digital Impressions

You no longer need to worry about biting down on a piece of gag-inducing impression putty whenever you need a crown, denture, or other type of dental restoration. Our team utilizes a digital impression system to capture a detailed 3D rendering of your mouth, which we can easily send off to our dental laboratory. Not only is it more precise, leading to better-fitting restorations, but it’s also much more comfortable!

Electrosurgery

The word “electrosurgery” may sound strange, but it’s actually a leading-edge technique that allows Dr. Mularczyk to effortlessly conduct surgical procedures like frenectomies and biopsies. Using high-frequency electric currents, Dr. Mularczyk can easily remove and reshape soft oral tissues. Instead of opting for a scalpel, electrosurgery helps control post-operative bleeding as well as conduct the procedure as quickly and precisely as possible, making your overall experience more comfortable.

Intraoral Camera

Similar to our cavity detection system, our intraoral camera is a small, wand-like device that can be waved around the mouth. However, instead of shining light at the teeth, it has a high-definition camera at the tip of it that can capture live video footage and still images, allowing our team to take a closer, in-depth look at teeth that may show signs of decay or other concerns. The still images that we’re able to capture using our intraoral cameras also allows us to provide you with a visual explanation of any diagnoses we may make.
